Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about CPR, BLS certification, group classes, and booking. If you do not see what you need, reach out on the Contact page.
What is the difference between CPR and BLS?
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) focuses on chest compressions and rescue breaths. BLS (Basic Life Support) is a more comprehensive course designed for healthcare providers that includes CPR, AED use, choking relief, and team-based resuscitation.
Who should take a BLS course?
BLS is ideal for healthcare professionals, nurses, CNAs, dentists, EMTs, physical therapists, and anyone working in a clinical setting. Many employers require current BLS certification.
Do you offer on-site training for companies?
Yes. We bring the training, manikins, and materials to your workplace. On-site classes are a great fit for corporate teams, dental offices, schools, clinics, and long-term care facilities.
How long does certification last?
Certification is typically valid for two years. We recommend renewing before it expires so your skills and credentials stay current.
What should I expect during class?
Classes are small, hands on, and focused on real scenarios. You will practice on adult, child, and infant manikins, learn AED basics, and gain the confidence to respond in an emergency.
Can individuals book a class, or is it only for groups?
Both. Individuals can book a scheduled class, and groups can request a private session at a time and location that works for them.
How do I pay for a class?
You can pay securely through the Payment page on our website. We accept major credit cards. Group and corporate invoices are also available upon request.
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable clothing. You will be practicing on the floor with manikins, so flexible, modest attire is recommended.
